The history of T.E.A.C.H. stemmed from the vision of a businessman named  Aaron Zolbrod who owns retail insurance stores (The Health Insurance Store) whose main office is located in Connellsville, PA.  The  inception of T.E.A.C.H. was brought about due to being located in the second poorest county in Pennsylvania.

Mr. Zolbrod resides in Fayette County and often deals with many from an “entitlement” demographic.  The county receives funding for over 38% of its inhabitants through government assistance.  His experience while working with clients and other local businesses left him feeling helpless.  Many had been retirees who could no longer make ends meet, or generational welfare families, or the disenfranchised, and veterans returning from war.  However, there seemed to be a common thread.  Almost all wanted a better life and lacked the way to achieve it.

It was due to hearing countless stories of hopelessness that T.E.A.C.H. was formed.  Mr. Zolbrod had personally experienced many of what his clients had voiced. He decided and realized that most of the problems that the people voiced were solvable.  He knew with the right tools, help, and resources many are able to change their circumstances.  He made a conscience decision to utilize his personal experience and success to create a program to help others live free.  It’s the goal of T.E.A.C.H. to help everyone make their dreams a viable reality through self awareness, personal responsibility, and a hand up-not a hand out mentality to obtain and maintain personal life goals of self sustainability for success.
